The 2024 Spring Musical, Shrek The Musical JR., is playing at Minnetonka Middle School East beginning Thursday, March 14 through Saturday, March 16.
About the musical Shrek The Musical JR.:
Everyone’s favorite ogre is back in this hilarious stage spectacle, based on the Oscar-winning smash hit film and outrageous Broadway musical.
Beauty is in the eye of the ogre in Shrek The Musical JR. It's a "Big Bright Beautiful World" as everyone's favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance. Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, Shrek JR. is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family.
In addition to 63 talented actors, over 45 MME 6th, 7th and 8th grade students participate in this production as sound and lights, set design and stage crews.
