Celebrating School Psychologists 2024

From November 11-15, Minnetonka Schools joins with schools and organizations across the country in recognizing National School Psychology Week to highlight the important work school psychologists do to help students thrive. We are grateful for all of the way these staff members support our families and community.

This year, the theme for week is “Spark Discovery,” highlighting the way school psychologists work to expand horizons and help students to seek out new ideas.

“I love working with high school-aged students,” shared Peg Hilbrands, a school psychologist at Minnetonka High School. “They are willing to do the hard work of determining what might be stressing them out and coming up with coping strategies.”

Hilbrands appreciates the opportunity to partner with students and families to find ways to support each student’s unique needs. “When we find the right strategy, it is amazing to see. Watching students make progress is such a bucket-filling experience.”

Join is in extending gratitude to our school psychologists this week and every week!
