Minnetonka Theatre Presents MHS Alumna Monica Livorsi '14 Performing Original Work, “All About Jane: The Eras of Austen”

Minnetonka Theatre is proud to welcome back Minnetonka High School graduate and accomplished singer-songwriter, pianist, and vocal coach Monica Livorsi '14 for an extraordinary performance of her concept album "All About Jane: The Eras of Austen."

This innovative production brings together the timeless world of Jane Austen and the energy of modern music. Each song in the album spotlights a different female character from Austen’s six beloved novels—capturing their distinct personalities and stories through a fresh, theatrical pop style. From the spirited optimism of Catherine Morland to the bold confidence of Emma Woodhouse, these iconic characters are reimagined with contemporary flair and lyrical depth.

Inspired by artists such as Sara Bareilles, Monica describes her musical approach as “theatrical pop.” The title of the performance pays homage to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, weaving in subtle references that connect Austen’s heroines to modern themes of empowerment and individuality.

Joining Monica on stage are talented performers Jenessa Iverson, Kyle Baker, and Spencer Schoeneman. Originally produced by Buzz Music Theater at The Hive Collaborative, this 90-minute performance promises an evening of artistry, creativity, and celebration of literature through music.
